With a distinguished progressive hotel industry career, spanning over two decades from being a General Manager, Regional Manager, and culminating as an internal executive corporate consultant helping craft strategies to optimize performance for a portfolio of over 100 hotels, Mario has cultivated deep-rooted expertise across globally recognized brands, including Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Choice Hotels International and Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants. This experience has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of every facet of the business. His foundation is built on practical, high-impact leadership that has consistently delivered superior results.
What truly distinguishes Mario is his forward-looking integration of AI into the hospitality industry. He is not just an operator; he is a technical visionary. As a Certified Hotel Administrator, Certified Artificial Intelligence Developer, and holding a Certification in Advanced Hospitality and Tourism Analytics, Mario is among the few leaders who can create and integrate advanced AI solutions on top of proven asset value enhancement principles to drive consistent, exceptional financial results. Before Generative AI became mainstream, Mario was developing AI based applications back in 2022; seeing the promise in Generative AI to both disrupt industries and enhance them, he set out a path of developing AI based hospitality solutions, built on top of his hands on experience as a high performing hotel strategist and operator.
At the helm of Artellect, Mario is responsible for the firm's overall consulting architecture, innovation pipeline, and cross-disciplinary service delivery. His thought leadership is not limited to today's challenges but extends into AI-enhanced systems design, predictive modeling, and the ethical evolution of digital tools within service environments. His philosophy is clear: his approach is not simply to advise clients, but to architect and execute exceptional results.

As Vice President and Co-Founder of Artellect, Fely shapes the consultancy’s operational integrity and people strategy—ensuring every engagement is rooted in legal soundness, cultural intelligence, and transformative human capital design.
Before co-founding Artellect, Fely served as Director of People and Culture at Banwa Private Island, one of the world’s most exclusive travel destinations. There, she fostered a deeply personalized and people-first culture, attuned to the expectations of ultra-luxury clientele. Her work was not just about hiring talent—it was about curating experiences through empowered, emotionally intelligent teams.
Her prior tenure at Frasers Hospitality and Marriott International saw her leading complex, multinational HR operations, particularly during high-stakes pre-opening phases. Her proven expertise in launching and scaling luxury properties continues to inform Artellect’s methodology across service verticals.
At Artellect, Fely is responsible for the architecture and implementation of scalable HR infrastructures that align with AI-integrated service delivery models. She oversees legal and regulatory frameworks across all engagements, ensuring that innovation is harmonized with governance and ethical excellence. Her strategic foresight drives workforce development initiatives, risk mitigation, and leadership cultivation—all essential to scaling high-performance cultures in today’s evolving business landscape.
Holding an MBA from a Special Executive Master’s Programme and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Fely brings a rare duality of financial and HR fluency to her role. This unique combination enables her to deliver people strategies that are not only empathetic and inclusive but also quantifiably impactful.
